Dry, aromatic Pinot Noir rosé is a speciality of Sancerre although demand still makes it quite a rarity. The producers of Saint Pourcain, to the south of the central Loire Valley have made a salmon pink Pinot rosé, similar in style to a Sancerre rosé. This wine is soft and fragrant with summer pudding aromas and a fresh acidity.
