La Jara’s lovely Pinot Grigio, produced near Venice, is a wine with great personality and depth, a million miles away from the dull Pinot Grigios available in supermarkets. It has an intense bouquet of stone fruits, pears and white peaches and a citrus note too, and the palate is dry and persistent.
